About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Development Manager to join our growing Robotics division. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales of our robotics solutions. You will play a critical role in expanding Mode Technology’s footprint in the robotics industry by targeting sectors such as education, hospitality, retail, and large commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the robotics space, with a focus on robotic cleaning, service, and transport solutions.

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry leaders.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets for the Robotics division.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the robotics industry to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, and technical teams) to ensure alignment of business objectives and delivery of client solutions.

  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and sales pitches tailored to potential clients’ needs.

  • Negotiation: Handle contract negotiations and close sales, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both Mode Technology and our clients.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, progress toward goals, and market insights.

Requirements of the Role

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the robotics or cleaning sector.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at all levels.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience selling or working with robotics in sectors such as education, convention centers, hospitality, or retail.
